SUMMER PARADISE

Simple Plan feat. Taka from ONE OK ROCK

O la da da dada
Yeah me and you in summer paradise

My heart is sinking as I’m lifted
Up above the clouds away from you
And I can’t believe I’m leaving
Oh I don’t know no no what I’m gonna do

But, someday
I will find my way back to
To where your name is written in the sand

Coz I remember every sunset (I remember)
I remember every words you said
We would never gonna say good bye (good bye)
Singing la da da da
Tell me how to get back to (back to)
Back to summer paradise with you
And I’ll be there in a heartbeat
I’ll be there I’ll be there I’ll be there
I’ll be there in a heartbeat
And I’ll be there I’ll be there I’ll be there

My soul is broken
Streets are frozen
I can’t stop this feelings melting through
And I’d give away a thousand days
Oh, just to have another one with you (with you)

Where real life can wait
We’re crashing like waves
Playing in the sand (playing in the sand)
Holding your hands

Coz I remember every sunset (I remember)
I remember every words you said
We would never gonna say good bye (good bye)
Singing la da da da
Tell me how to get back to (back to)
Back to summer paradise with you
And I’ll be there in a heartbeat
I’ll be there I’ll be there I’ll be there
I’ll be there in a heartbeat
And I’ll be there I’ll be there I’ll be there

My memories are reminding me
The perfect night on the perfect beach
Ano hi no ki o kuwo kaki atsumeta tokode
Modorisenai
The season not the reason why
I fell in love with you in paradise
Kimi ga boku wo omoidasu tabi ni
And I’ll be there in a heartbeat

Someday
I will find my way back to
To where your name is written in the sand

Coz I remember every sunset (I remember)
I remember every words you said
We would never gonna say good bye (good bye)
Singing la da da dada
Tell me how to get back to (back to)
Back to summer paradise with you
And I’ll be there in a heartbeat

I remember when we first kissed
How I didn’t wanna leave your lips
And how I’ve never ever felt so high
Tell me how to get back to (back to)
Back to summer paradise with you
And I’ll be there in a heartbeat
I’ll be there I’ll be there
I’ll be there in a heartbeat

Walking on the sea floor made possible in Mactan Island

Walking on the sea floor made possible in Mactan Island

Mactan Island, Philippines. Mactan Island is part of Cebu Province where the Cebu International Airport is also located. Beautiful resorts like Shangri-La and Movenpick (previously Hilton Resort) are found here.

One of the exciting activities to do while in the island of Mactan is seawalking. Walking on the sea floor is made possible in Mactan Island which allows you to be close to different kinds of fishes. Finding Nemo and Dory is quite fun in here. Let us just remember that "Fish are friends, not food" - Finding Nemo.

Seawalking in Mactan Island was quite a good experience if you do not want to try the more adventurous one which is diving (as Cebu is best known for diving, too).

I was here with my Japanese cousins, Yuta and Daikichi, with Loloy. Thanks to Ate Evic, we became seawalkers for a moment. Airwalking will be next, maybe. Yay!

It looks simple yet a little difficult when you are already underwater. No worries though as there is a little training before diving. Even a little change in elevation will give some minor disturbances in the ears as pressure will change if elevation changes.

Above. You will be bringing some food for your fish friends. Some of them would actually think you are food. Hehe. At times, one of them would aim its mouth at your skin. There is no piranha here or else you will be all bones. :)

A bamboo handrail is also installed on the seafloor to guide you while seawalking.

Do you think it's fun to live like you are Nemo for a moment?

A relaxing experience at Eskaya Resort in Panglao Island

A relaxing experience at Eskaya Resort in Panglao Island

Eskaya Resort, Panglao Island, PhilippinesBefore a travel magazine could post their feature on this globally known resort located in Panglao Island, Bohol, let me have some spoiler photos of Eskaya Resort in Panglao. A very relaxing view, indeed. You get to experience all the privacy you need with the private villas in this resort.
However, the price of Php 30,000 per night would surely hurt your pocket. That is the cheapest room they have and that is during the lean months. When peak season strikes, these rates are expected to go up.

I got the chance to visit this resort for a Manulife appointment #growthfund #bondfund #investments.

So here are some photos of what you have to see when you are inside Eskaya Resort in Panglao Island, Bohol.

Mustafa Centre Singapore

Mustafa Centre Singapore

Little India, Singapore. Great deals can be found here at the Mustafa Centre in Singapore.

If you want to shop for some affordable goods, gadgets, or clothing in Singapore, Mustafa Centre is the place to go. It opens 24 hours and when I went here, there were also several Filipino sales ladies and attendants.

It was funny when I called one of the sales ladies 'Auntie' (as Singaporeans call older ladies Auntie, i think so) yet she replied I'm not your Auntie, don't call me Auntie. I just smiled at her, I think she was a Filipina.

There is also a money changer here. Since the place is in Little India, you will find yourself surrounded with several Indians here. If Indian cuisine is something that you crave for, try roaming around the area and surely you will find one.

Getting There

There is an MRT Station linked to a mall called City Mall. Mustafa Centre is just walking distance. Farrer Park MRT Station seems to be the nearest station.

You can also take a bus along Jalan Besar Road. Mustafa Centre should be somewhere near Jalan Besar.

If you are taking the bus along Jalan Besar in the Little India area, where you can also find several affordable guest houses, you can stop near Kitchener Road intersection. There is a bus stop in that area.

For a helpful and handy map, you can check out gothere.sg.

Singapore's Visitor Centre

Singapore's Visitor Centre

Orchard Road, Singapore. One of the unique building designs though simple is Singapore's Visitor Center which is located along Orchard Road in Singapore. The huge letters are not just uncommon but at the same time attractive.

Orchard Road is one of the most famous streets in the Lion City and shopaholics just love this area as popular global brands line up the street with their respective boutique and shops.

In the Philippines, the concept behind Orchard Road is also one of the future inspirations on the street adjacent to the Solinea Condominium located within the Cebu Business Park in Cebu City where the upscale Ayala Center Cebu is also situated.

Solinea Condominium is a prime development of AyalaLand, Inc. in the Philippines, one of the country's leading real estate developers.

Marina Bay, Singapore. One of the best things to witness in Singapore is the Laser Show right at the Marina Bay. Tourists and locals look forward to enjoying this unique and exciting show that Singapore has to offer.

Chinatown in Singapore, free pikapika!!

Chinatown in Singapore, free pikapika!!

Chinatown, Singapore. The best time to go here is during the celebration of the Chinese New Year sometime in February. You get to taste different kinds of pika pika food.

It feels good to get lost in this area, I was just like roaming around the Chinatown in Binondo, Manila, Philippines as well.
